9FilmFest is proud to have the 2013 Finalists screened at the Asiaticafilmmediale in Rome, Italy during their Film Festival 12 – 21 October. Asiatica Film Festival is Italy’s premiere collection of Asian Films.
9FilmFest Director, Brian Bennett has been asked to be Chairman of the Netpac jury at the festival and will be flying to Rome to present the 9FlimFest Finalist Films and be on the jury! Great things happen at film festivals… It gives us all an opportunity to see undiscovered films and network with other emerging and creative filmmakers.
Asiatica Film mediale – Encounters with Asian Cinema was founded in 2000 in Rome. It is the most representative Asian film festival in Italy. The organizer is the cultural Association Mnemosyne, which has always been open to renovating ideas and new opportunities to gather knowledge of the cultures and traditions of the Asian world. An excellent way to develop a better understanding has been achieved through the film industry. Thanks to Asiatica it has been established an original channel of communication between Italy and Asia.
