What a combination of talent!! Clint Eastwood and Tom Hanks! Unbelievable that Clint Eastwood is 86 years young and still Directing movies and enriching our lives!
It is amazing to think the story of a plane crash landing on the Hudson river can be made into such a gripping film. To take you on a story, make you feel like you are on the plane and feel the tension and impact of the plane hitting the water is amazing. This is what filmmaking is about.
CGI makes action movies and sci-fi films come alive. But the action is only that. Just unbelievable action. SULLY comes alive because the CGI takes us aboard the plane and we are involved. I felt part of this film, I was in the passenger seat of flight 1549.
Tom Hanks was terrific and portrayed the pilot in the extraordinary circumstances of this plane landing in the Hudson river.
