Always fun to watch a period film. This time Richard Linkletter brings us back to the 70’s. The basic storyline is about a male group of university baseball players. What could have been fun, watching the interaction of the baseball players and life in college, turned into a boring attempt to recreate the 70s.
No matter the 70s cars, the long hair worn by men, and mediocre 70s soundtrack, the film never made me feel I was in the 70s.
The acting was not natural and couldn’t deliver 70s dialogue or swing with the times.
This film is only good as a learning experience of how to botch up a period piece.
